I took it in to the shop. I was calm and showed him that you could see the shiny copper. He said that this would not be happening if I had brought the entire starter in the first time. I agreed, although he did have the entire starter last time I returned it them. When I returned from Menard's, he asked me to come with him.... OH OH??? He showed me that it works just fine in his test stand and that he had removed one shim from the starter drive and that it is good now. I asked him if I owed anything and he said no. AS I headed to the truck, I decided to go back and give him $10 anyway. I hope this is the end of this problem SDE
