I must be a sick man, I really only have a passion to own green & yellow tractors. I've owned other makes but they don't stay for very long at my place, I don't dislike them but don't share the same passion with me as Deere's do. I have too many. Currently all running except one, it does run but I can't use it until I replace the radiator core & I've already repaired, replaced just about everything except the frt frame & main case on it. It is still taking up 3 times the required space in my tractor shed since it is still in many pieces, But I have started the engine!! First time since 5/30/1985. It's that 1944 Model A that should have been scrapped out, A tractor that went WAY OVER my Planned spending & continues to do so. I've owned for 5+ years. My Goal is to get it running as good or better than the others I have & Be able to use it. & when I find another that's my price range my goal will change to it.

The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
