Same here where I live. I went to a tire shop to get a 15 inch tire for my chipper. I told the first shop I needed a tire. All I wanted it to do is hold air. No deal. The next shop said, I don't think we have that size tire. The third shop said for 10.00 I can have one. I said how about 5.00. I finally got my tire, which they already have collected a disposal fee from the other guy. Another time, I needed a 16 inch tire for the front of my JD, so I could complete my mowing. All they had was a studded tire in my size, which they would have never sold in southern California. I didn't have time to shop around so I think I paid him 25.00 for the tire. I think the used tire shops should be held to a higher standard, as most tires are old beyond safety standards. Stan
