No matter the brand and HP the pump portion should match the application . The deeper the lift height the more pump stages. A deep pump in a shallow well wastes power churning water through the extra stages .
The three phase pump in the well has no start windings or starter to fail. The three phase uses less power per gallon of water lifted. The three phase pump is powered from a constant pressure controller/VFD which is supplied with single phase.
