Franklin is top choice but there are several other brands that will do a good job.
I have a 525ft deep well with the pump at 500ft that fills a 40,000 gal reservoir for my poultry operation. The Franklin 2hp pump we have pumped 11 million gallons in 8 years before lighting got the motor, the pump end was still good so we replaced the motor and reused the pump end.
We also have a Franklin pump in our 400ft well that supplies water to five homes.
