First of all, I live in the Ozarks. There is no flat ground in the area I live. It is hilly. I have a 269 New Holland baler. I have baled with it for a couple of years now. I have not had issues with it missing knots. I baled about 60 bales this year with no problems and then it started missing knots on the left side coming down a hill. Since then it will not knot on that side if I am going downhill. If I am going uphill it knots both sides and does not miss a bale. As soon as I start downhill, it will not knot the left side. I baled three fields with it this year and had the same problem each time. I have never heard of this problem before. Does anyone have any ideas what would cause this or what to do about it? Thanks in advance for your help.
