A couple of years ago, I got some Wagner brake rotors for my F250 from RockAuto that were about 1/3 the price of any rotor I could buy locally, shipping included. These Wagner rotors were American-made and weighed about 50% more than the Chinese crap sold at the local Irish-named local auto parts store. With that being said, I'd rather buy a discontinued brake part from RockAuto than to buy something newly manufactured (most likely from China) from any local auto parts store. I have no problem using a rotor or a brake pad that has been sitting on the shelf for a decade or two. An oil filter that could possibly dry out is another story.
