You have the original belt on a 300??? I've used those link belt quite often. They work OK for temporary like has been said but I've got one on my backhoe that has been there for over a year and maybe 200+ hours. When I change my backhoe next time I plan on zip tying a couple of extras around the hyd pump shaft. It's a pretty good chore changing it too.
