That is the reason so many find tractor's that have been "farmerized" I know there are a lot on here that get bent out of shape when they buy a 40 year old tractor that isn't like it came from the factory. When the bottom line is the most important you have to improvise. Last year I needed a circuit board for my backhoe. Terex wanted $1500 for a 4x6" piece of plastic with a couple of transistors molded in. I needed it for the forward reverse shuttle so I bought $50 of wire, relays and fuses. It shifts as well as it ever did and now it can be repaired if needed.
