Between 1 o'clock Friday afternoon and 5:30 Saturday afternoon,I raked 45 acres of hay and baled 276 round bales. I went out at 1 Friday,had 21 acres raked by 3,headed out at 3:30 with the baler. I stopped for supper for 45 minutes and had that 21 acres baled by 8:45,135 bales. Yesterday I started raking at 9:30,had 24 acres raked by noon. I went out at 1 and started baling,was done at 5:25,another 141 bales. It was about all I could do to raise a fork to my mouth to eat supper. I had to take a nap before I even went out and checked cattle last night. On the bright side,I've only got about 90 acres to cut yet.
