Its only as good as the people behind the counter. Theres 2 guys in the local store that if I see them behind the counter, Ill wait on one of them, but if they arent there, I leave most of the time. Will they old tractor parts, not likely unless its a battery or a seal or bearing they can cross to something modern. They did have a set of spark plugs on the shelf I needed for my M a few weeks ago. Ive inquired about a carb kit and something else I cant recall for my M, and they were able to order it, but I could have bought it online for cheaper.
