There is a pheasant habitat program. I looked into it. Since I already have ground cover my land will not qualify. If I bulldozed all the fences and made it clear land I can then draw money from the program. It is a joke. Pheasants are thin for a array of reasons. A few strips of grass will not do much to help them out. We need a few warmer winters and dry springs to help them reestablish.
