Yes for sure going up over Flagstaff it was always a snow storm. Then when you get back to the desert it would be hot. But also dry. The place I could never understand was Barstow Ca. What in the world the first man ever seen in that place I could never figure out. I used to fuel up at the flying hook truck stop and walking across the lot I used to think about that. Where I came from I used to tell folks that we had 10 months of winter and 2 months of poor sledding.
