I came to hate dogs when I was doing real estate inspections. Or rather a lot of dog OWNERS.
One time I was doing an interior inspection on a house and the homeowner had to hold this dog off me while I did my job. All the while he was bragging about how mean his dog was. My reports always required a photo of any dog on the premises, among other things, and a comment on the temperament of the dog. The guy didn't even know he was talking himself out of homeowner's liability insurance.
Pathetic, but that was almost everyday stuff. But, if a dog prevented me from doing my job, all I had to do was turn in a photo of the dog with a comment, and the company would back me up as to why I didn't do the inspection.
