A lot depends on how much weight you are dumping and how much common sense you use in loading the trailer to start with.I have a 10ft 10,000 lb gross trailer with a single cylinder that I can haul about 7,500 lbs on it and with the trailer wt gross the 10,000 and have no problem dumping things like lime.IF I load it evenly over the trailer and mostly in the center of the trailer.If I loaded all the wt to the front and to one side I'd have major problems.Thats all the trailer I need because if I need to haul more its better for me to hire a dump truck.
