I turned a local heat and air place into the BBB once. They were over charging my Mom and not doing service they claimed they were doing. It was resolved quickly when the place found out.
Another time I turned in a national publishing company to the state attorney general. They were using some unethical tactics trying to scare me into their subscribing to their rag claiming I had authorized subscriptions to be billed later. The AR AG said that they were out of IA and he turned it over to them. Within a month I had heard from the IA AG and the matter was taken care of.
