You are right. A one or two year old Corvette can be had for a good price. Less than a new 1 ton pickup in some cases. I had a buddy that drove a Corvette year around as well. He said the same thing. Put some decent winter tires on it and it got around just fine. Many Corvette's are garage queens and never see a cloudy day. I hope to have one in the next couple of years and plan on it just being a driver. Why not. I get the low mileage and heated garage kept car thing. It helps hold the resale value, but if you can't drive it in the meantime and enjoy it while you have it you are just keeping it perfect for the next owner so you can recover most of the investment when you sell it. What fun it that just to say you have one. Just me I guess.
