Cartoonist for Farm News of Fort Dodge Iowa was fired after 21 years for offending Corporate Ag. The Fort Dodge radio station, KWMT, is also controlled by Corporate Ag and the is outlet for Corporate Ag propaganda. You'll never hear any agricultural discussion, just pro-Ag propaganda. I did some research a couple of years ago and found in 46 years Iowa farmers marketed corn for less than the cost of production 22 years. Corporate Ag buys corn for less that the cost of production. If farmers do have a a return, input cost increase the following year. Wouldn't it be nice if farmers could buy their supplies and equipment for less than the cost of manufacture. Monsanto has a sad face because their quarterly profit was only a little over a billions dollars.
