A normal air pressure guage will not work, btdt. You have to have a guage that measures water column inches. I had to replace the one on my 5100 last year, bought a large unit at Amazon and made a bracket to mount it on top of the lift cylinder frame and ran a hose to the tube, works good and I can see the numbers and needle.
