I was wanting to add some expanded metal to my new tractor for added protection in the front. I do not want to weld on the new paint so I was thinking of making a metal frame to fit inside the grille guards sections, welding the expanded metal to that and then use bolts to secure it. My other thought was to bend the expanded metal to fit inside the grille guard sections and then bolt that to the inside of the existing frame. Anyone have any other suggestions? Just trying to keep it neat.
