I was just in the barber's chair this morning. The place I go to is a one man operation that has been going for a little over ten years now. He's a middle aged guy, something around 50, and is always friendly and talkative with customers. My #2-3 fade buzz cut takes him about 15 minutes including an eyebrow trim and I've always been pleased. He seems to have good business and I'm hoping he'll stick around for years to come.
It is interesting hearing guys talk about barbers using straight razors; my barber told me that he is not allowed to use them on account of the health codes. Must be a state-by-state thing.
