A neighbor had two farmall 1206's. I knew he was going to retire, but he kept talking about having an auction. I sat back and figured I'd try and buy one at the auction. Fast forward a couple weeks, I told him my intentions of trying to buy one. He then told me a guy offered him good money for both and wasn't having an auction anymore. That guy kept the nicer one and sold the other at an auction myself and the previous owner were at. When the bidding went past 4500 he said"well, he made money on that". I was sick. Never did find out what he paid for the pair, but I'm guessing in the 10k range. Obviously the new owner won't sell the better one.
Also know where my grandpa's old oliver 77 orchard sits in a field. That guy won't sell it. Just rotting away.
