I put it in my 1981 F350 years ago. My bottle said you did not have to flush. But I think it was not correct. I just redid my rear brakes and the wheel cylinders were really nasty inside. Maybe it was from trace of brake fluid in the lines from before as they were new cylinders last time too ? Either way I'm sure they lasted longer than with regular brake fluid.
