The better half did a little shopping yesterday and the entrance to the store had a swarm of girl scouts selling their boxes of calories. (Don't get me wrong. I actually love the cookies!) There was a very shy girl cowering off to the side who looked to be terrified to be there. My wife went directly to her and ask if she would like to sell some cookies. My wife judges high school forensics on the side and feels very strongly that sometimes a kid just needs a little something to boost their confidence.
