Retired US Navy Chief Ranstad started this up while his son (proving that he's more of a man than dad, US Army Sniper) Nick was deployed to Afghanistan. It's still ongoing supporting our deployed troops with care packages. They love goodies like this.
Bruce and I have been friends a very long time. He gave me a lot of garbage when my youngest son enlisted in the Navy. So I give him a hard time about his son being in the Army. Nick is still active duty and I believe he will stay for retirement.

In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999.
