Yes, some plows go deep, some not. With today's huge equipment the host farmer passes over his field once with his big tillage rig and you never see any trace of what we did. I do arrange for 3 experienced guys to close in the debt furrows for a smooth field.
Yes, plowing is no longer done by farmers anymore....maybe that is why we attract so many people who want to watch old tractors and plows relive the "good old days". It works for us.
