Showcrop, I drove a late 80s chevrolet dually it had a 454 motor at work, hauled a lincoln welder. Now i got this truck from another crew that had it. I drove it for little over a year and serviced it regularly. One cold winter morning the oil pressure guage didnt come up right away while i warmed the truck up. I turned it off started it again all was good. The next morning the same thing turned it off started it again and off i went. on my way to the shop it started slowing down i give more gas then noticed the oil guage was zero. Locked it up.. When the mechanic took the oil pan off you could dip your hand in the pan and scoop up the sludge. only low spot was where the oil sump screen was. Truck didnt have blow by at all. Actually the motor ran strong untill then. It was hardly ever serviced by the crew that had it before me was the ending story. As i recall the truck had just a tade over 100k miles on it.

The front end center pin bushing was worn also so I ask that they replace it if they had time. Well, that’s wha
