In about 63 Dad bought a 60 ihc ton truck. It had been lengthened and had another axle put on. Had about a 16 ft. Bed. Had been used to haul watermelons from Illinois to Florida then oranges etc back. Had a lot of miles. We thought 100000 plus. They made this baby tandem because they thought they could run under icc. Radar. Motor was a 304 v8. They had used Shell x100 oil. For some reason Dad wanted to take a valve cover off. When we did under it was what looked like another valve cover. Could read international in the gunk. We carefully put it back on! Advertised it for sale. Dad ran series 3 diesel oil in everything. So we never had any oil related problems.
