I've had 5 ford pickups, 1 ton duallys and 1-ln 8000 truck. used the 8000 as a fuel delivery truck and the pickups were used as tire service trucks. Transmission, motor, torque converts, differential problems. Last 1 I bought was one of those darn 7.3 diesels for my own use. tranny went out 2 weeks after I got it, motor lost a piston 3 weeks after I got it out of the tranny shop, ford wanted 10000.00 to fix the motor. I should have known better, My last business we had 1 man that we kept to keep a fleet of them going for a construction company. I guessthatisthe reason I drive Chevy and dodge today.
