Oh almost forgot - I repaired a piano accordion once that had a mechanical misalignment so all the bass reeds sounded without any keys pressed. That was a "keep your teeth close together" to be sure everything went back where it came from. Had to remove all the bass key mechanisms to get to the trouble. Laid out all wires in a row and made sure they didn't get mixed while the twisted wood was removed and straightened by repeated wetting and twisting against the bad twist.
