Between the 4F's(Full time job, Farm work, Firewood, Fixing things), I aint got much time(I know I spend to much time here) for Hobbies. Granted if the shop would stay cleaner I could find time to do more. Hobbies around here are woodwork, metal work, and the greenhouse.

Here are some projects I made(in school, could do stuff like it in shop)

Been a welder for a lot of years and done my share of projects, here's some of my fave's. My all time favorite was the handicap lift for Bill's 3010. He still thanks me every time I see him for giving him more years on his tractor.

Some semi trailers, these were very high dollar, complex and fancy trailers for hauling million dollar race horses. The roofs had to be strong enough to hold the horses in a sling. The 8nsides were carpeted and padded everywhere.

A little different--got some stainless steel at the scrap yard and made this profile plane at least 3' long. It's been "flying" for about 5 years. This morning the sun reflected off it and was almost blinding at the kitchen window.

As you know I like all kind of antique machinery and fix a lot of my own stuff. I did some of the work
on my 38 GMC and built the flatbed, built the flatbed on my 87 Kenworth, the sawmill and woodworking
usually in somebody's house though. And I like to ski, I was only 30 in this old picture and don't jump
as high now.

A couple years ago while helping my wife with a large stained glass piece she was doing in her studio, I decided to create one of my own. First picture is her piece in progress; round one is mine.

I studied music in college and play the tuba in 5 area bands. My second and third degrees were in history; Akin to this, I am a student of military bands during the Indian Wars of the American West.

I like to take nature photographs! This one does not quite fit that description, but I am pleased with the way it turned out! The Blue Angles were at Offutts Air Show in 2014.

Repair old and build new violins. Photos some where but I'm not in the mood for "finding" them right now.

Mess with lots of music instruments (emphasis on MESS) such as pedal steel guitar, piano accordion, resonator (Dobro) guitar, electric
acoustic bass, mandolin, fiddle (violin),

Oh almost forgot - I repaired a piano accordion once that had a mechanical misalignment so all the bass reeds sounded without any keys
pressed. That was a "keep your teeth close together" to be sure everything went back where it came from. Had to remove all the bass key
mechanisms to get to the trouble. Laid out all wires in a row and made sure they didn't get mixed while the twisted wood was removed and
straightened by repeated wetting and twisting against the bad twist.
