I cannot see how you can be so casual about a gun. As has already been posted, if that gun is used in a crime, they will be coming to talk to you. The paper trail does not end with your late father. It continues on to next of kin. After all, the gun did not evaporate when your father passed away, did it??? This unstable woman is in possession of a deadly weapon that can be traced back to YOU! I strongly suggest that you repossess that gun. With the help of the sheriff or local gendarmes. Or even state police if necessary. Never mind permits, FFLs, transfer of ownership, or any of the rest. GET THE GUN!!!
