Not only was there the pain and suffering of the cows but he lost his livelihood. Huge tragedy! I pray for t hem. A little over forty years ago a close neighbor lost barn, hog house with a hundred head of hogs and a corn crib. It was a total loss. The hogs were laying like there they were sleeping and the smell was gut wrenching. This happened in the summer. I will never forget it. He had me come over with the .22 to shoot some of the burned hogs that were roaming around. Their ears were burned off with only holes in their heads. Very sad and tragic.
