I stick with red wings, mainly since my cousins own the local store and I don't feel like going to the next town over to Fleet (where you are on your own for shoes). The 2238 are comfortable to me, the 2280 they can stick someplace. I abuse my shoes(forget to oil, wet/dry, rarely cleaned off) and don't have much problem with red wings holding for at least 2or3 years till the leather shreds apart(usually starting at toe(kicking to much junk) and the rear ankle(continual flexing point)). Some red wings are foreign(like those 2280's I hate), so if you want Am made look at tags.
One thing to remember is to have foot sized in afternoon after standing on them all day(the weight of your body squeezes them flatter, longer, wider). Don't hope your feet stayed the same size since last time you got shoes, get them sized/fit; you'd like the fit a little more.
Upload one or more videos to your post. Photo filesizes should be less than 300K and Videos, less than 2MB. Formats allowed are gif, jpg, png, ogg, mp4, mov, and avi. Be sure to use filenames without spaces or special characters, and filetypes of 3 digits lower case.

To the newcomer that wants to get out and use the machine for field work, you may have already hit a major roadblock. That is the dreaded "proprietary hitch". With the exception of the
