Hi-Compression Products from Washington Iowa manufactured and sold products to raise the compression on distillate burning John Deere tractors which enabled them to burn gasoline.
The kit contained 2 rings that were installed in the cylinder block, they were located in the block by adaptors that went in the spark plug holes which necessitated the spark plugs be changed from the Champion D16's to J-8's.
Also included in the kit was a Manifold which, and I forget if it was a cold or hot manifold.
My Dad imported a lot of these kits to our Deere dealership in Newdale Manitoba Canada, becoming the western Canadian Distributor many long years ago.
