Dang, I wish that tire guy was near me. A couple of years ago (the last time I ever did business with them), I took my wife's van into a major league tire shop in the area to have all four tires balanced and rotated. When I got the bill, which was pretty high for the balancing, I saw that they charged me $20.00 to rotate the tires. "Wait a minute," says I, "you took all four wheels off the car to balance them, and now you want to charge me $20.00 just to put the four wheels back on in different location?" "Yep," he says, "that's a standard charge."
Well, it wasn't "standard" to me. We wouldn't relent, so I told him, "Are you sure that's all you want to charge me? Because I can assure you this the last dollar of mine that you'll ever see."
