I just took my 500 gallon tank to have it sandblasted and painted, which produced holes in the bottom near some brackets. I went to purchase a new tank, and the co-op manager talked me into a new 300 gallon tank (I use only about 400 gallons per year) He said the fuels today are not as stable as in the past, and I would be better off storing less fuel on-farm during the year and having more frequent, smaller deliveries. Less convenient for me, not any more expensive as far as I can tell, unless the price changes, of course. The cost of the tank was about $200 less. I'm no expert on fuels, so take it FWIW...
