This one didn't even have any cleaning necessary. The original owner had died and it set in the shed for four years. It had a miss when I left the auction but I filled it up with gas and by the time I made it home 40 miles it was running smooth as silk. God love all of those nasty fuel additives. Now I have to rearrange. This one can't set out more than a day. It would be a travesty.
I can tell already I wish it had the 391. It has the 330 and will be slow with 250 bushels of beans. It's geared pretty low, though. I wouldn't want to run it more than 60 mph.
It was rather odd driving it home. Every bridge I crossed nothing in the cab rattled and the bias ply tires didn't feel square. That power steering is butter compared to the 56 and 58. The gas gauge even works right!!
