A gift like that is ten times better than a gift that is just bought at the store and shoved under the tree. My neighbor's Christmas tree is hung with decorations made through the years by friends and family. No store bought ornaments are seen on that tree. I can spend a long time just looking at the different ornaments, some made by family members who are no longer around, some made by grown children and grand children when they were little and a few made by the present great grand children. It is so personal and non commercial, the way Christmas is supposed to be.
