funny thing is, we spotted this guy about two miles away last week, and he was seemingly comfortable where he was as he stayed there all week. He'd move away when we approached, but he always came back. We fed him there, and tried to get him used to our presence.
He was there on friday night, so we thought for sure we'd catch him there Saturday morning when we'd have more people available to help.
Saturday morning came, my friend went out to feed his other cows to get ready for the trip out to catch this one - and there he was, just standing there in front of the gate.
he never really knew this as home since he ran out of the trailer straight off into the woods when he first disappeared a couple weeks ago. So it was some REALLY good luck that he found his way back after all that chasing.
