That conversation can be volitale, depending on where you are. I live in Washington state and BLM has several wild horse adoption places here. They come in from several southwest states, so I suppose there are quite a few places that they range in. Some folks have really good luck breaking and training, most of them, I guess it depends on your skills. Some folks shouldn't have any animal, cause they wont take care of them, when the new wears off. Some of those horses are really scrubb animals and look more like donkeys, than horses, and I wouldn't want to fool with some of them. Like someone said earlier, there are a lot of hoops to jump thru, to satisfy the BLM, and also a pretty stiff adoption fee, for a boneheaded bronk. I have friends that graze a lot of BLM ground south of Burns Oregon, and have to compete for grass, with wild horses. They think that all wild horses should be eliminated, and especially after last summers wildfires. That is just greed, and the horses were there before, they got their grazing lease's We all have our opinions, and each of us think we are justified. NUFF said!
