I have a JD 1630 as my work tractor. With 12X24 tires and 10 inch on the front, it can be narrowed down for orchard use but still has 50 hp to run a mower, rotovator and sprayer. Match it up with a JD loader and you would have a perfect unit. I had a Massey 135. It was a great tractor but the clutch was so hard my wife could hardly walk after a day moving apple bins. My toys are CASE. I grew up on a VAO. The 430 is a great tractor but can't be narrowed as much and doesn't have as much hp. I guess it depends on your row spacing and equipment. Dave
