Deere can get them.. they just don't want to. Deere has been slowly cutting back on available parts for some older machinery and discontinued equipment such as chain saws and brush cutters. I owned a couple of Yanmar Deeres.. had lots of parts availability problems. In addition, my Deere dealer who used to cary a lot of Fleet Guard filters cut back and now requires you to order them. I just went down the road to my Case/NH dealer who has them in stock..
