I've had a Sam's Club membership for most of 20 years. We go there once or twice a month to stock up on staples. Great meat, great bakery stuff. Cheaper prices than anywhere else. I rarely buy gas there as it's out of the way. Some things you don't buy there cause it's too much. Like who needs 9 xtra large cans of scouring powder at a time. Day to day stuff we pick up at local grocery store. We go there about supper time and each get a double slice of pizza for $2. Someone mentioned Sam's always checking your cart as you leave. I hate that about them. Like they're suspicious of you. I never even slow down, just hand my reciept to them and keep moving. They whine sometimes but I don't stop. My wife gets a free membership at Costco from work but we both prefer Sam's even though we have to buy the membership ourselves.
