Mitsu used to build the small CaseIH diesel tractors in the 16 - 25HP range. Example CaseIH 235 compact. Good little tractor overall. Only tow issues we have had were the ignition swicth system has a weak link somewhere and is a bugger to track down. We bypassed the start position using a starter button (went old school)
The other issue came with the tractor (purchased used) was the Hi/Lo range selector pin was broken (Hydro tractor). We split the tractor and replaced that pin with a Grade 8 bolt and have had no issues since. No idea how the PO broke it.
This 235 compact is an 18HP with the 3 cyl Mitsu Diesel and sips fuel. We use it with a 4 foot bush hog and ran it all day with no issues after fixing those two issues. Has around 1000 hours on it now.
