Last year you were paying a little under $2.00 a pound for 5 lbs. Would you pay over $3.00? That's what your cheese would cost now. So it' would be around $15.00 for the same 5 lbs. Consider all the costs that have gone up in the past year, the extra taxes and insurance costs across the nation. It all gets passed on to the consumer. The price of milk has little to do with what you see in the store.
