I agree with old Bob, they would have value to someone. The equipment shop I worked in has two bridge cranes, they are now over 35 years old and still in service. Of course they received regular service and scheduled inspections. An acquaintance of mine bought one out of a shop being demolished, the mfgr. was still in business and they helped him a lot with installing it and doing some re-conditioning to put the crane in service in his shop. Saved him a big chunk of money. I would think if the company is still in business they would be of way more than scrap value.
