My JD is under my homeowners policy and it's expensive. Looking for a better deal - not just for the tractor, but other equipment too as we upgrade. Also don't like coverage being confined to my property only - I'd like to park the tractor in a neighbors field down the road overnight when making hay.
Just scanning around, Sentry insurance caught my eye. Look the same insurance Deere is selling too. All I really need is theft. Even at my property, the tractor is in a locked shed, with locked gates around - but a lock only keeps an honest man honest, IMHO - locks are not much of an obstacle for a determined crook. Don't need liability just some piece of mind theft insurance.
Anyone tried Sentry insurance? Rates look very good.
