Yes, a solution was found with the help of those that posted. A fuel return hose was blowing off at one of the check valves - I replaced the valve.
The valve is supposedly faulty, but I believe the most important part of the fix was to replace those weak spring-type hose clamps with threaded stainless steel clamps. The spring clamps were so flimsy that I could remove them between finger and thumb.
