Need help , folks. My IH 444 diesel tractor sprang a fuel tank leak . I have repaired it with JB Weld . To do that I had to drain tank . I found what I will call a slurry on parts of the bottom of tank . I assume that it is a combination of diesel fuel and dirt . I'm considering putting it in suspension with Purple Power and water and vacuuming it out and then rinsing and vacuuming again .
Any risks to this ? Bear in mind I've owned this tractor 33 years and have had only two fuel delivery problems in all those years . Don't want to cause a problem but that "slurry " bugs me.
